Costa Rica continues to see more and more direct flights from Europe, as the Tourism Board does it’s job to attract more and more airlines to come to our amazing country. The German airline, Lufthansa will now start flights from Frankfort, Germany to San Jose beginning March 2018 with two non-stop flights per week. Frankfort is one of the largest cities in Germany and a leading financial center and home to many adventure hungry tourists.
The new flights from San Jose to the German city are on Thursdays and Saturdays, with the first flight on March 29, 2018, on an Airbus A340-300 with a capacity of 279 seats including Business and Premium seating. The flight will leave SJO at 7:50 pm and land in Frankfurt at 3:10 pm the following day and the Frankfurt flight leaves at 1:45 pm and arrives in San Jose at 5:55 pm local time…just in time for sunset.
In the past year ITC has secured several new directs from Europe including: Madrid by Iberia, San Jose are to London via British Airways, Paris via Air France, Zurich, Amsterdam on KLM and Munich, Germany…all bringing new visitors to enjoy and experience Costa Rica.
