Expansion of Delta Flights Makes Traveling to Costa Rica
That Much Easier
Delta Airlines announced this week new seasonal service from JFK International Airport in New York to Juan Santamaría International Airport in Costa Rica. Daily flights will be scheduled from Dec. 19 to March 31, 2014, and Saturday-only flights from April 1-Aug. 16.
The new flight schedule is already available for booking at the company’s website. According to a Delta press release, new service is possible because of a $1.4 billion renovation of JFK International Airport’s Terminal 4, which began operating on May 24.
Delta also operates a new daily nonstop flight between Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Costa Rica’s capital, which began in July. Delta operates 40 flights a week during high season, connecting the cities of San José and Liberia, in the northwestern province of Guanacaste, with several destinations in the United States.
The expansion of Delta’s services will increase expediency for many vacationing to Costa Rica – giving travelers just one more convincing reason to travel to Costa Rica. Flights are available today at www.delta.com
