Canatur President States that Establishing Costa Rica Travel as the Best in the World for Tourism is Well Worth It
Traveling to Costa Rica has positioned itself at the top of the list due to its reputation for ecotourism, the beauty of its beaches, extensive hotels, tourism attractions, and accessibility to activities and conveniences for tourists.
The results of the survey were published on June 9th in London, England.
The president of the National Chamber of Tourism (Canatur), Pablo Abarca, was pleased with the results of the survey and the #1 ranking of Costa Rica as a worldwide tourism destination. He also emphasized the challenges the Costa Rica tourism sector has to remain at the top of this list as other world-renowned travel destination attempt to emulate the development of Costa Rican tourism.
Abarca recognized the costs of establishing Costa Rica as a leading travel destination, but affirmed that the cause is surely worth it. “I still believe that the price you pay for a tourist coming to the country is worthwhile,” he stated.
