As the first official festival to be held at Marina Pez Vela in Costa Rica, this weekend marks the beginning of what is hoped to be an annual event. The Food and Ceviche Festival at Marina Pez aims to explore cultural identity through food and its connection to the people. Representing the food of the region, the organizers of this event aim to celebrate cultural trade and tourism in the Central Pacific coast of Costa Rica.
Happening at Marina Pez Vela, from November 14 to 16, 2014, the competition will start on Saturday November 15 and will be held starting at 10:00 am at Marina Pez Vela in Quepos. Free entry is being offered from 9am-10am.
Experience Traditional Dishes and Innovative Cuisine at the First Food and Ceviche Festival at Marina Pez Vela
The dishes shall be submitted by a panel of select judges and chefs, with expertise in the culinary arts and three distinguished judges will award the winners in one of two categories.
